    We will have our class Easter Party on Thursday, please remember to send in one dozen prefilled eggs for our hunt at Brown Oaks.

    Thursday, April 14 will be a two hour early dismissal. 

    Spring break begins on Friday, April 15. Students will return to school on Monday, April 25.

    We will not be taking a Bible or Spelling Test this week, however, I expect my students to practice and study the material we go over in class.

Another week is in the books and we are moving right along in 2nd Grade! 

Please continue to stress the importance of reading directions to your children. It's necessary for them to be able to read AND follow the instructions that they are given.

The BOOK FAIR is this coming week. We will all go down (as a class) on Monday to look at everything they have to offer. If your child would like to purchase something from the fair, please send money with them. Students may bring money Tuesday through Friday, but will only be permitted to go shop those days if they have brought money and intend on purchasing an item.

 Good evening! It was such a beautiful day today, I hope you are enjoying every minute! 

Announcements: 

I put your child’s username and password for the DreamBox app on the inside of their folders. If you are able, please load it onto a device so your child is able to log on at home. Make sure they are the doing all the work.

Please have your child finish the packet that was sent home and turn it in on Monday.

We are going on a field trip to Dairy Queen on Monday for ice cream cones, so send those permission forms back.

 Good afternoon! I just have a few announcements for the coming week. Remember, there will be a 2 hour EARLY DISMISSAL on Monday and the public bus will not be running. Thursday, March 17 is the end of the third nine weeks. Finally, there will be no school on Friday, March 18 and I will be sending home some work for them to do that day.

Wednesday - Math Test 22, Spelling PRACTICE TEST List 24 (They have had all of these words before, 

                      so they will be fine with an earlier test.)
