February 5-9 - NLCA Spirit Week

• Monday - Board Game Day (Dress up as a piece of a board game, a character, or the game itself.)
• Tuesday - Role Reversal Day (Teachers dress as students and students dress as teachers.)
• Wednesday - Anything but a Backpack Day with Crazy Socks
• Thursday - Circus Day
• Friday - School Spirit Day (wear maroon and gray)
• Classes will have the opportunity to earn points toward the class competition in the following ways:
• Penny War
• Spirit Day participation
• Class Video
• Class Poster
• Spirit Stick

Tests:

• Wednesday - Writing Test 15
• Thursday - Phonics Test 17, Practice Spelling Test List 18
• Friday - Math Test 16, Spelling Test List 28, Bible Test Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

I realize that this schedule looks very busy, and it is. We have lots of catching up to do, but I will always be sure that my students are adequately prepared for any tests that we take.

****IMPORTANT****

Your children brought home a "Non-Traditional Learning Packet" to work on this weekend. This work is to make up what we missed on the two snow days we had this week. Please be sure they complete this packet and return it to school on Tuesday to be graded. As they are doing their assignments, please stress the importance of reading and following all the directions given, particularly when there is more than one step to a question.
