I am sending home a new format of reading log. Make sure those are filled out every evening (three nights a week) that your child reads. They must be returned at the beginning of each week and will be counted as a grade.

The kids did a great job memorizing John 14:1-6! I'm so proud of them!! The next passage of scripture we will be memorizing is Psalm 24. As always, we will practice at school, but make sure they go over it at home, as well.

• Thursday 10/20 - We are taking a field trip to Summersville Fire Dept. to learn about fire safety. Afterward, we will be doing the pumpkin scavenger hunt that is hosted by Summersville Baptist Church, followed by lunch. Look for a permission form with more information early next week.
