Announcements:

Registration for the 2023-24 school year is open. Re-enrollment forms were sent home with your child yesterday. If you are registered by April 1st, you will receive a $20 discount on the first month's tuition.
Monday 3/13 - READING LOGS DUE!
Thursday 3/16 - End of the 3rd nine weeks. Be sure your child has turned in all work!
April 3-10 - SPRING BREAK! ♱🎕

Homework Policy

In second grade, homework is typically limited to Reading, Spelling, and Bible. However, if classwork is not completed by the end of the day, it must be completed at home for homework. Additionally, it is important for students to practice math facts. This can be done during car rides or playing board games with dice. Make it fun!
Reading - Students will be expected to read 3 nights a week and fill out a reading log.
Spelling - A new list of words will be assigned each week. We will practice these words in class, however, studying at home will help prepare for weekly tests. Students may write out their list at home and bring it back to be counted as bonus points toward their test. One point will be awarded per written list and up to 5 bonus points will be counted toward their test.
